Score Free Samples With PINCHme!

PINCHme

If you like getting free stuff (and who doesn’t?), you need to know about PINCHme, a fairly new website through which you can receive free samples in the mail with very little hassle or work on your part. The site—appropriately named because you’ll likely think you’re dreaming when your first boxes of goodies start to arrive in the mail—offers users free samples of all kinds of products from leading brands. PINCHme launched in Australia in February 2013 and quickly spread to the U.S. I decided to join last month after hearing about the site from several friends, and I’m already hooked!

Here’s how it works: Simply visit pinchme.com, click “Sign Up Now,” and fill out a brief profile. The information you give will allow PINCH Me to customize the samples you’re offered to suit your needs and interests. You’ll then see which samples are available to you. Add them to your box, check out, and sit back and wait for your free stuff to arrive!

Once you receive your items and try them out, visit the site to answer a short survey about them. You’ll earn points for leaving your feedback. As you earn more points, you’ll move up to higher membership levels that will allow you to claim more free samples, enter monthly sweepstakes, and more. You’ll also earn points for completing “challenges” such as watching product videos, “liking” brands on Facebook, sharing PINCHme on social media, and more.

New samples are made available every Tuesday at noon. Because the site is personalized for each user, not all samples will be offered to everyone. One week a user may get five samples, and the next he or she may get none. One hitch of the site—and a common complaint among users—is that samples often run out quickly. So, if you can’t log in to the site on a Tuesday afternoon, your samples may be gone before you get a chance to claim them. It’s a legitimate gripe, but in my mind, you can’t really complain about a site that’s sending you stuff for free! Also, it seems that as you amass more points, you get access to more-exclusive samples that may not run out as quickly.

I’ve tried many free-sample sites, and so far, this one stands out to me. That’s because the site requires so little time and effort on my part. I spend maybe 10 minutes on it each Tuesday, yet in the six weeks I’ve been a user, I’ve received a whopping eight free samples. These include Suave hand lotion, Method laundry detergent, Clear shampoo, and Gevalia Caramel Macchiato K-Cups. The samples are generous, too—about the size of a travel-size item you’d buy at the drugstore. Other products users have received in the past include South Beach Diet snack bars, Puffs tissues, Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, and much more!

I’d highly recommend giving PINCHme a try. Even if you aren’t as successful as I’ve been, it will only take a small amount of your time—and you could get some pretty cool swag!

Are you on PINCHme yet? If so, what’s your experience been like? Let’s discuss!
