An Online Baby Book

When you were pregnant, you probably couldn’t wait to buy a baby book for your child. And then you religiously filled in every milestone from your baby’s first year of life, right? First crawl, first tooth, first step? Every visitor, every outing, every gift received?

Yeah … me neither. The reality is, parents are busier than ever these days. Between work, household obligations, children’s activities, and more, many of us just don’t have the time or the energy to keep up with the baby book. And when the day ends and we finally have a few minutes to ourselves, we’re often just too exhausted to do anything but zone out in front of the TV or sleep.

I try not to beat myself up too much about not keeping up my twins’ baby books. After all, I’ve had to juggle all of the above things. When I did have free time, I was too busy making memories with the boys—going to the park and the beach, taking Gymboree and art classes, having play dates, traveling, and more—to write about them. And that’s what matters most, right? Still, sometimes I feel guilty that I couldn’t at least fill in a few more pages than I did (as if moms don’t have enough things to feel guilty about).

That’s why I wish I’d learned sooner about blinkbuggy.com. Founded by a mother of two, Blinkbuggy is an online baby book that makes it easier for busy parents to document their children’s milestones. You can easily capture and store all of your memories in one place, and the simple and flexible privacy controls allow you to decide what to share and with whom to share it.

At Blinkbuggy, you can upload photos, add quick notes and favorite quotes, and more. You can also import photos and updates from Facebook, Google+, and Instagram—stuff you already posted anyway! The memories are then displayed on your home page from newest to oldest. You can also print your Blinkbuggy memories to high-quality customized memory books, gallery picture frames, and folded cards.
