I love my B-Agile single. But you’re right — they should add more colors (especially boy colors, which are rare).

Also: TELL THEM TO GIVE US THE OPTION TO PURCHASE AIR FILLED OR RUBBER TIRES :))

  2. This is definitely exciting! I love Britax products. This one reminds me of the BJCM double. What are the differences between the two?

  3. Justin Vitrano says:

Great review. That looks like a great option for us with the second one on the way. Thanks Hollie!!

  4. Lauren says:

Differences I see from Baby Jogger City Mini double just from watching this video:
B-agile has the following that BJCM does not:
    -Removable infant head rests
-Harness adjustable from rear and does not have be be re-threaded
-Easy-access basket and basket accessible from front by unzipping the foot rests *note that BJ come out with an easy-access basket on the single CM this year, and the re-designed CM double is due out in September, so I would assume we can expect an easy-access basket on the new double also.*
    -Adjustable handlebar
    -Automatic lock
    -Standing fold
-Center handlebar piece that allows easier one-handed pushing
-larger rear wheels (9.5 inches instead of 8)

    City Mini has:
-two peekaboo windows on canopy. Canopy may still be larger on City MIni, hard to tell without having them side by side.
-larger front wheels (8 inches instead of 6.5)
    -years of tried-and-true popularity
-Not a new product, which means you can find them cheaper on sites like albeebaby.com and ebay.com. I bought mine last year for $350 on ebay, including shipping (and no sales tax).
    -more color options.

    Other differences:
-city mini double requires a double belly bar in order to use snack trays. Double belly bar is $45, child trays for CM double are $25 each
-city mini double takes a bassinet sold separately. Not sure if the B-agile does this.
-city mini car seat adapter for double is sold separately $100, but it’s a multi-adapter. The adapters that come with the B-agile are for the Britax car seat only.

The biggest question for me is whether or not the maneuverability is as good on the B-agile as the City Mini. Maneuverability on the City Mini is awesome!!! But that’s something you just have to try out in the store (and make sure you have actual weight in the seats when you test. Testing without weight in the seats is useless!).

***The new City Mini GT double has a lot of the same features (adustable handlebar, easy access basket, automatic lock) and has larger 8.5″ forever-air tires (instead of the hard rubber) for rougher terrain strolling.***

  5. Lauren says:

    Correction:
City Mini harness does not have to be re-threaded. It’s easily adjustable from the front of the stroller by using the harness clips.

  6. Jenelle says:

I have been going back and forth between the City Mini Double GT and the Britax B-Ready and was wishing Britax offered a side-by-side double stroller b/c I love their products and especially some of the features of the B-Ready (magnetic window closures and flip-flop friendly one-touch break especially). So, I was so excited to hear that the B-Agile Double was debuting. Like Holly said, I wish the peek-a-boo windows had magnetic closures- its quieter, of course, but also just cleaner and more sleek. And I wish it had the same kind of break as the B-Ready (its similar, but I love my flip-flops, so thats why I like the break on the B-Ready). I think I would overlook those things though if the B-Agile Double were offered in a great color! Even the silver or navy on the B-Ready would suffice. And the new Britax tires wouldn’t hurt either. All-in-all I really like the B-Agile Double from what I have seen- minus the velcro, break disengaging with top of foot, and the lack of color options. Thanks to those things, I’m still on the fence.

  7. Dionmy says:

expecting twins… can I put TWO carseats at once?

  8. Nope, only one car seat at a time with the B-Agile Double.

  9. Carmell says:

Hoping you get this question. Can I use the B-Agile universal car seat adapter for my Graco Car Seat? I have the B-Agile single but Graco infant seats. It would be great to go with this double rather that the BJCM Double. Which I think has an adapter that would work. Thank you!
