It’s Day 19 so I’m sure you know the deal by now. If not, here’s how it works. Each day (Monday through Friday) we are going to re-feature one of our fabulous video reviews from our collection that helped to make us famous! To help celebrate that video, we are going to hold a one-day giveaway for THAT product! We aren’t going to tell you which products are coming on which days – but you’ll know it has to be a product from our collection of 306 videos. It’ll help narrow your guesses to what’s coming next.

Day 19
We are celebrating the Britax B-Safe today! The B-Safe is another choice for an infant car seat from Britax in addition to their already popular Chaperone. We have the differences between the Chaperone and the B-Safe listed HERE. The B-Safe is still be loaded with Britax’s excellent safety features but at a bit lower price. Plus, since it is a bit shorter when installed with the base, it is a better choice than the Chaperone for parents with ultra-small cars.

I love that the B-Safe doesn’t take up so much too front to back like the Chaperone with the anti-rebound bar. Our car is a coupe (we live in the ity and don’t drive much) so our back seat is tight and wouldn’t accommodate the Chaperone but the B-Safe would work!

I have the Chicco key fit 30 seat and it wasn’t so bad with baby 1 but I’ve really noticed with babyies 2 and 3 that that sucker is HEAVY when you have more than the seat and a bag to keep track of…love the lighter seat if it wasn’t my last or last one for the next few years I’d definitely go for a lighter seat!

My favorite feature isn’t so much a feature (though I do love that the canopy is actually big enough to block sun), but the fact that it will actually fit in my car! I love the canopy, and actually like that the giant cushioning wings around the head are not there. It would make it easier to get the shoulder straps in place on baby.
I think the most important is the extra side impact protection!

Your blog and videos have been very helpful to me! This is my first baby (due in September) and I’ve done a full-time job’s worth of research on every product possible. I was teetering between choosing the Maxi Cosi Mico (the designer in me loves the color options) or the Britex B Safe – my mother used the Britex with my and my siblings. I am choosing the Britex for many reasons including safety and the fact that it is American made! Thanks!
