I need help!! I really want to buy the Baby Jogger City Mini double, but I have no idea if it’s worth the extra $129 it will cost me to get the 2011 model vs the 2010 model? The stores only have the 2011 model on display so I can’t compare the two. My kids are 5, 2, and 10 months. I really would like to save the $129 and just get the 2010 online, but is the 2011 really better? Help!

Hi Everything is fine with the stroller, but the Chicco Car seat addapter doesn’t actually SNAP into the adapter that’s supposedly made specifically for it and you have to strap it in. My two year old girl almost drop the baby to the floor because it is so unsafe, how can they sell it? and now I call the company and they will not issue a refund.

On the other side you can not really forl the stroller with the infant adapter, it is really terrible I probably wouldnt have bought this stroller if I had known all that in advance.

Does anyone has problems with this Chicco infant adapter too?

I wanted to know the exact same too – how much more upright is the 2011 city mini double with the extra strap. I called up Baby Jogger and they told me it is 2 inches more upright, whatever that means, and the seat angle is 120 degrees when at the most upright position. I tested the stroller at a store and it seems the City Mini Double has much more headroom than the City Select.

I am in between this baby jogger double ( the 2011) and the baby jogger City select double. I like the 2011 because they are adding an extra strap to help the kids sit more upright, but how much more upright? My oldest 2 year old loves the sit straight up. So this is a must for us.

Thank you for the review. My wife and I recently bought a City Mini double stroller for our newborn and 18 month old. We were about to buy the accesory to attach our Britax Chaperone car seat that we already have but read that it will not fit a double (only a single stroller). If this is true(please confirm) can we use the City Mini Compact Pram as a worth while everyday option? Or, is there a paticular carseat that has good ratings that works best with the City Mini double. Thank you in advance.

I’m debating between the Phil and Ted Dash, this stroller and the City Select. Both of my boys are tall and chubby as babies. (My 7 months old weighs 23lbs). I feel like the baby looks squished in the double kit on the Phil and Ted, and that my 3 yr old looks squished in the top seat on the Select. They fit fine in the mini, but then I’m stuck with a side-by-side. Any advice?
