I've spoken with an iCandy representative and have confirmed that you can turn the upper/larger seat facing out, not just facing the mom, as Hollie has mentioned in this review. It took me less than a minute to convert; you just need to switch the two blue color componets with a philips screwdriver. Just contact the company and they'll explain it with details. I love the iCandy Pear; I'm having a 2nd child on the way so the larger/smaller seat combo will accomodate what I need perfectly. BTW, you may not want both child facing eachother if one is older than the other; the older will tend to kick the younger one w/ his/her feet just to tease the younger one, said one of my mommy friend who has a City Select.

I recently purchased the iCandy Pear and couldn't be happier with my decision. The main reason I purchased the stroller was because i too was having twins. When i found out the City Select could not accommodate 2 bassinets the choice was easy to make. Also, it seemed like there was more room in between the seats and the stroller was easier to get over curbs and pushing in general than the Baby Jogger (because the handlebar extends more than any ive seen!). Plus I could get the Pear ASAP instead of waiting 3 months!! I hope this helps your search!

I have twins on the way and a two year old. If you could get only one stroller that could hold two infant carriers which one would it be?

I also am debating between these two strollers. I have pretty much ruled out the new Britax stroller. I am having twins in December. I have two older children as well and so I like the option of the glider that is offered by city select.
Other than that I would love you feedback comparing these two.

Hi Hollie,
I'm trying to decide between the iCandy Pear and the Baby Jogger City Select. My son will be 18 months old when his sibling is born -- and he's only in the 25th percentile for height/weight.

We're suburban dwellers, but like to go to parks (ie on grass/gravel) quite a bit.

Which would you recommend?

Thanks!
