It was brought to my attention by one of my students that this blanket is a re-make, or "rip off" of the JJ Cole Essentials Blanket. The differences I see is that one company was innovative, and original--While the other, a copy cat. I will say that I have used both blankets, and while the Central Park blanket is practical-- I prefer the JJ Cole original. I support innovation and would not hesitate to say that originality will be what helps us overturn this economic recession. Business that copy the ideas of others and market them as their own prove to me that they don't hold as strongly as some to the American Dream--which if you recall was established on freedom, independence and breaking free.
