I have owned a 2010 Mountain Buggy Duo for a year, and I have to complain about how the stroller has been squeaking for about the last two weeks and I can't seem to fix the problem. A $700 stroller should not squeak! I also own a 2006 Mountain Buggy Urban Single, and have never had a problem.

This looks like a good sturdy stroller. One that may even be up to the challenges of terrain and climate where I live (think Wuthering Heights). Wind and snow are the major elements for me. I have two kids - a baby and a toddler, and it would be a plus if both the seats were reversible. I get the impression that only the hard bag can be facing the parent. Also the cover seems a bit short. I like the coverage one gets from the Baby Jogger Summit, but they do not have duo strollers last I checked. Perhaps that storm cover accessory will compensate. Everything else about this stroller looks good though. This may just be the one I get in the end as mountain walking with the kids is a daily routine for me.

I've been looking for a side by side stroller that works well with twins (rather than multi-age) children. There are not many out there! This looks like it could be perfect. Thanks for the detailed review.

Wow! Thanks so much for this informative video review of the Mountain Buggy Duo. I am starting to look for a double stroller for my 2-year-old and 4-month-old (who currently travel in a Bugaboo Cameleon and Baby Bjorn, respectively), and your review was very thorough. I appreciated the outdoor shots of it being used in snow. While I will still go and "test drive" this in person, your review has convinced me that this could be the stroller I need... now to convince my husband!
