Jami, This stroller would be perfect for you. It’s perfect for the family who wants the option of doing off-road tours, mall shopping, walking and light jogging. I have the second seat for it and use currently use it with a Chicco Key Fit 30 (you need the Chicco adapter). Our 2 year old loves the seat. It has plenty of room for her and I love how the seat reclines, from a sitting position to a completely flat. Perfect for when the kiddos fall asleep while you are out exploring. I strongly recommend this stroller to everyone looking for a single with the option of a double! Very worthy of the price!

I’m really interested in this but I really have one question…I am NOT a runner at all but I was looking at maybe getting a jogger because I hope to do stroller fit clubs and what not. Is this a decent stroller to use for that? Thanks!

Are the second seats for 2010 & 2011 different? I saw a review online saying it was not updated and others say it is.

Hi Holie,

I’ve always go by your reviews when I was about to buy a stroller for my firstborn. Now I’m expecting my second and wondering what’s the best of the convertible in-line stroller out there right now? and if there is anything else coming out the end of this year? I’m not due until the end of December. So far I think baby jogger city select has the most interesting features. I am also looking into sit n stands but my first will just be turning two by the time the second one comes out, so I think she still would like to sit comfortably and occasionally nap in a stroller.

You are completely right, Erin. You can now buy the second seat adapters separately. When our review was done when the City Select first came out – you could not buy them separately. After many, many complaints, Baby Jogger wised up and now offers them separately.

You do not have to buy the second seat kit in order to purchase the second seat adapters. They can be purchased separately at various retailers and websites.

The seats on the City Mini and the City Select have changed for the 2011 models. They are now a more rigid seat and what you would consider a “proper seat”. I think you will really like the City Select. – Hollie
