Introducing the Maclaren Grand Tour LX

In Las Vegas last week, Maclaren announced their upcoming full size luxury stroller, the Grand Tour LX.  Loved for their super popular lightweight strollers, this is sure to be a hit with many moms.

The Grand Tour LX was designed to be the all-in-one stroller solution to parents’ needs, featuring a reversible seat, a removable carry cot, and car seat compatibilty.  A great feature of the Grand Tour is the ability to fold up the stroller quickly and easily with one hand without having to disassemble anything.

There will be two options to the Grand Tour:

Option 1:  Grand Tour LX (GT LX) is the fully featured option with all the innovative, high tech features included.  Some of the high tech features this option includes are safety lights on the chassis front, and a dashboard console with ‘driving instruments’, including a clock, temperature gauge and a Stollometer.

Option 2:  Grand Tour (GT) is for those parents who want the option to personalize their choice of accessories.  This option will come with a package of select items and then parents can choose what accessories to buy separately.

Maclaren is giving an estimated availability date of November 2008.  We will definitely get a full video review up as soon as they start releasing them.
